Dr. Gabriel Serrano receives the’ 10 Colombians’ award in Madrid
The Embassy of Colombia has honored Dr. Gabriel Serrano, president and founder of Sesderma, with one of the “Colombian 10 Awards”, which recognize the trajectory of those Colombians residing in Spain who contribute with their work to strengthen the image of that country.
The prize was collected yesterday (Wednesday 14th) at the gala that took place in the Colombian embassy. His Excellency Mr. Alberto Furmanski, the Ambassador of Colombia in Spain, recognized his work as an eminent dermatologist and president of Sesderma. Dr. Serrano thanked for the award and confessed his love for both countries: “I have a split heart because I love Spain and I love Colombia.”
Along with Dr. Serrano, nine other Colombians received this distinction. Among them stand out singer Juanes, film and television director Sergio Cabrera and Mónica Roa, a human rights lawyer. The list of 10 Colombians is completed with Jaime Ferro, director of the Surgery Unit at IVI; Efraín Bernal, gallery owner; Guillermo Fernández de Soto, director for Europe at CAF (Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina); Diana Montoya, director of Diana Montoya Centro de Estética; Óscar Dávila, managing director of Casa América and Silvia Tchrassi, fashion designer.
